The challenge is finding that perfect lure for the spot you are fishing. I prefer 4 pound to 6 pound line for most scenarios where I am trout fishing from shore. You can accomplish a longer distance cast by using lighter and thinner line, a heavier lure, or both.
Being able to cast a distance is an important factor in shore fishing success. I have spent many hours casting from shore for trout, and have a few favorite trout fishing lures to recommend. Beautiful Washington State Rainbow Trout caught trolling with a fly and a Wedding Ring Blade. While each region has it’s own unique lures and favorite riggings, there are a number of lures that you can’t go wrong with, regardless of where in our beautiful region you plan on trout fishing. And don’t forget about California’s epic river and lake trout fishing. Idaho and Montana have some of the most beautiful lakes with world-class trout fishing. Maybe you want to head to Central Oregon’s Lakes and fish for a trophy Brown Trout. You may be headed to a suburban lake in Washington State that has been recently stocked with Rainbow Trout. The large Jigging Rap in that particular colour has some surprising days for lake trout and whitefish.not sure why they like that red/orange colour.they just do. It has a extra eye for a treble attachment, but the lure did not come with the extra treble. The little glow jig at 9 o'clock is great for perch.a little like the Jigging Rap but without the plastic tail. The three Castmaster spoons at 7 o'clock position are great for trout again.just a little larger in size. The six mini jigs at the bottom are awesome for bluegills and crappies.I love them to death! I'll leave this here for the members for 7 days.and then it'll be put onto Craigslist at a higher price. Special lower pricing just for the member here.$25 Half of them are in new condition, the other half are like new condition but have slightly rusted hooks, chipped paint or chipped the red coating on the hooks (since they have sat in the box with other lures or have banged around other lures). I always buy 2 or 3 extra of each lure just in case I lose them.but I actually hardly ever lose lures when icefishing.so these are extras that I'm willing to sell.
